Studios is selective in the projects it accepts due to
a production schedule booked several months in advance.

RATES: $35 per hour.
SCHEDULING: All projects are scheduled on a lock-out basis,
which means we work on one project at a time. A full CD project
typically takes 3-8 weeks, with rare extremes on either end of
the spectrum (the record for quickest CD is 3 weeks; for the
longest, 6 months - aaackk).
DEPOSIT: A deposit of $500 is required to confirm
a project's starting date. The amount of the deposit is credited
to the final bill. This deposit "locks in" the agreed-upon
start date, and is refundable up until 30 days before that date.
INITIAL CONSULTATION: Typically, a meeting is scheduled between serious
prospective clients and Mike
Coates, Raptor Studios owner/producer/engineer and Linda
Coates, Raptor Studios owner/business manager/graphic designer.
The specifics of the proposed project are discussed including
the music and arrangements, budget, the recording process itself,
graphic design, manufacturing, etc. An approximate timeline is
developed and a block of time is scheduled. Projects at Raptor
Studios are usually scheduled at least three months in advance.
